COACHING FEES FOR COMPETITIONS



Strip coaching during local, Regional or national competitions is optional.
Travel expenses for the coaches will be divided between athletes being coached. Students will sign up individually for the events they’re interested.
It is recommended that fencers interested in the competitive side of the sport to attend tournaments for their skill level. Coaches will accompany athletes to competitions only if coaching arrangements have been established ahead of time. As a courtesy rule, if two members of our club end up fencing each other in a tournament, coaches will not assist.

FEES, PAYMENTS & RULES


○ Request for coaching has to be made via email or via text at least two week before the event so we can make arrangements
○ All fees are per event
○ Transportation and Accommodation fee will be divided between athletes being coached each day
○ No SBFC members will accept, under any circumstances, to receive coaching from a coach other than our own.
○ As a courtesy rule, if two members of our club end up fencing each other in a tournament, coaches will not assist.
○ Travel expenses for the coaches will be divided between athletes being coached
○ Cost split in participants per event, for example if the student compete in Y12 & Y14 would be charge per each event at the lowest rate possible
○ SBFC coaches allowed to coach at events are Owen Cozine, Ed Elterman & Anibal Alvear




○ Local events + Transportation for Local event out of town (divisible among participants per event)
1 fencer per event $55
2 fencers per event $45
3+ fencers per event or more $40


○ RYC or SYC event drive distance + transportation costs (divisible among participants per event)
 1 fencer per event $75
2 fencers per event $70
3+ fencers per event or more $65


○ RYC or SYC event more than 80 miles + transportation costs & accommodation (divisible among participants per event)
1 fencer per event $90
2 fencers per event $80
3+ fencers per event or more $70


○ National or SYC event more than 300 miles $120 per event + transportation costs + acommodation + $25 food (divisible among participants per event)

○ International events please contact your coach, at least 45 days in advance
